For the first time in 14 years, LSU has claimed the Men's College World Series title. No. 5 LSU defeated No. 2 Florida 18-4 in Game 3 of the championship series.

The Tigers took Game 1 of the series in an 11-inning thriller but suffered a 24-4 loss in Game 2. And though they could have been down and out after that 20-run loss, the Tigers bounced back in tremendous fashion, setting a new record for most hits in a MCWS championship game with 24.

With a 53-17 record to end the season and the program's seventh title overall, LSU showed it was the best team in the country.

How did we get here? Here are the scores from entire NCAA baseball tournament.
