My Parents Cannot Attend the Workshop with me, when do they complete their section of the FAFSA?
If your parents are unable to attend, you will still be able to complete the student portion of the application during the workshop. However, your FAFSA will still be incomplete until the other contributors complete their section of the FAFSA form.
Parent Resources for Completing the FAFSA:
If your parents are divorced or separated you might need to complete the FAFSA a little differently. Learn more with the video: How Do I complete the 24-25 FAFSA form if my parent’s are divorced or separated”

They will also need to answer income and asset questions listed above but in their own “Spouse” section of the FAFSA. If your spouse can attend the workshop with you they must create an FSA ID at least 3 days before you attend the workshop and should bring all of their relevant information that you the student would bring (outlined above).
